In association with ChoiceCuts/DEAF, CandyCollective presents:
Vaughan Oliver, Graphic Designer
For over 20 years, Vaughan has been prominently designing for 4AD Records. He was the visual driving force to the look for all its releases including, most notably, the Pixies, Cocteau Twins and Lush, amongst many others. We are very fortunate to have Vaughan speak, as he rarely gives talks - a maverick inspiration, the designer's designer.
David Rodigan, DJ
Literally, a walking encyclopedia of reggae music and its history and effect on the music industry. David's passion for the music cannot be challenged, and with his highly energetic sets on Kiss FM and Sound Clashes around the world, the hairs on the back of your neck will literally stand on end as he recounts his favourite sounds and stories.
David O'Reilly, Film-Maker
From Dublin, now residing in Berlin, David's challenging work with both film and digital film is difficult to categorize, but inspiring nonetheless. Abstract, nostalgic and yet fresh, he recently won a Golden Bear for his work called 'Please Say Something'.
